Heres a funny story, much like my good friend Kristin's funny story.
One night I was waiting to meet some friends at a coffee shop we often go to just to hangout and catch up. I was there early and decided to draw some people in my sketchbook. Little did I know that doing so would attract most annoying guy in the place. He walked over and said he noticed my sketchbook. He then went on for about 10 minutes talking about art and animation. He talked on and on about how good he was at art and that he didnt need school (he had never heard of Ringling either...). He bragged about how awesome he was at Maya Autodesk and that it was such an easy program to learn and that he was self-taught. Next thing you know he was asking me out to dinner for a date... Thankfully my friends walked up just in time to save me. I politely said no thank you and walked away.
However... the entire time he was stading there bosting about himself... I drew him ^_^
There are a lot of post-it notes at my work... so I draw on them while I wait for my animation renders to finish. Now I have a new header for my blog. joy!!! ^_^
The original drawing.
I really need to bring my sketchbook with me more often.
I'm a camp counselor every summer & I swear, each year the kids get funnier & funnier. Either way, this was inspired by one of my most spirited campers. He was dancing around playing a toilet paper roll as a musical instrument.
